Google Maps

You may (or not yet) have heard people talking about the "Geo-web".
What is it? Well it is the web in relation to your location, and as people start leaving their computers and take the web with them (smart phones etc) the Geo-Web will start to become really important.

Google is big into the Goe-Web and are encouraging people to build it themselves too!
This site uses Google map technology quite allot to display maps on site, but as part of my ongoing effort to promote the site in any way possible I have also added the geo-data used on-site to Googles datacupboard so that it can be used off-site.
This is a useful ways to let people take information with them, and helps people return back to the site to find the information they need.

In the "first wave" of off-site promotion I added the listed gallery data today.
This approach will also be applied to other data in the near future.
If you don't know it's because you haven't asked.
